Being Part of Heroes
In partnership with Clubs House through YCHAT, UB Relics Basketball is involved in a community outreach. The purpose of this project is to provide Provide life skills through sport to vulnerable and challenged adolescents. Adolescents are exposed to social ills such as drug abuse and teenage pregnancy. The StreetBall Kids Project is aimed at mentoring these adolescents using a fun sport administered by aspirational young people they admire and look up to. The project identifies organisations working with vulnerable adolescents to add to the list of communities that are engaged by our youthful HEROES.
